There are a lot of reasons for that, but mainly:
* A big part of my income goes towards traveling anyway
* I love shooting in new places (no, I don’t need to shoot at the venue often to do an epic job)
* Expanding my portfolio feels great
* I get to make a vacation out of it if I stay for a little longer
So yes, if you book only my wedding package, I’d love be your wedding photographer no matter in which part of the world

I was recently telling a friend about my crazy trip to shoot a wedding in Nicaragua and got nostalgic.
That unforgettable weekend and hanging out with the most amazing group of people was worth every little bit of stress including but not limited by: not being able to board two planes, buying new tickets right at the airport, walking the Costa Rica-Nicaragua border by foot, trying to remember Spanish to explain where I was going, being scared to have all of my equipment taken…

Trying to return to Instagram, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I want to do it.
I feel like I’m going to share more about my work in my personal Instagram and more of my personal life in my professional Instagram.
People work with people.
I pour a lot of who I am into the pictures I take.

- when picking your venue think not only ceremony and couple portraits, think places to get ready, think reception, think all the angles)
- have ALL of your details ready before the photographer’s arrival (I mean all of them: bride’s and groom’s, better more than less)
- ask your florist to bring the flowers early and have some spares for the flat-lays
- make sure all the areas where the photos will be taken are clean and not messy
- wear something cute even before you get into your wedding clothes
- think about all of the details: steam the dresses, go to a makeup and hair trial
- research current trends and try to implement them: there are things even like the way to arrange the flowers in your bouquet or fonts on your invitations that can make it look outdated
- hire a wedding planner, it is literally their job to think about all the details

Today I fully got back to work 🥰
Not that I was completely on vacation, I was still editing all the time, but yesterday I arrived back to San Diego and dove right back into work after waking up at 4:20 🙈
I closed my 2022, all of my clients got their galleries, and I couldn’t be more happy about it ❤️
5 hours were spent on writing out 2023 goals, and tomorrow I’ll probably need 3 more 🙈 But one this I know for sure: 2023 is going to be big 🤩
